About Us

ReFill Shop Bude is here to provide plastic free shopping and environmentally friendly products. By refilling your own containers there is no packaging waste and you only buy what you need (saving money and food waste!).

Our household and body items are all made using natural ingredients which are kind to your skin and body as well as the environment. We try and stock local items where possible and always research our products to bring you the best value whilst making ethical choices.

We are run as a Community Interest Company (CIC) number 11663043 which is a type of company designed for social enterprises that want to use their profits and assets for the public good. It means any profits go into the community rather than to shareholders.

What we sell

We sell a wide range of dried goods, including herbs, spices, baking ingredients and pantry items. Our snack section is impressive with sweets, crisps and an array of chocolate covered goodies! We also stock liquid items such as oils, vinegars and refillable ketchup. For the home you will find all the cleaning products you'd ever need plus ingenious plastic free alternatives and in the body and beauty area we have skincare, sanitary wear, dental, haircare and more. How it works

Simply bring along a container (it doesn't have to be fancy, an old bread bag, takeaway container or jar are all fine - make use of what you already have!). You weigh the container, fill it up with goodies, weigh it again (we do the maths on the till) and then pay. You only pay for the contents inside and not the packaging, unlike supermarkets! We also have paper bags in case you forget a container or want something extra (usually chocolate snacks) and there are glass bottles and jars available to purchase.

And don't worry if it looks daunting, our friendly staff are always on hand to guide you through and clean up the spills ;)
